GFS shows low moisture levels for Amman.
It will be a large storm, but precipitation will be moderate
The peaks of Al-Khalil will witness a lot of snow. Possibly a total of 30 cm or more as the precipitation totals and temperature will be very good for that outcome
Snow will be possible above 600 meters in the north of Jordan on Thursday morning, with accumulations expected above 750 meters . this is due to the very low temperatures in the upper atmosphere (-4 celcius at 1550meters - 850mb)
All the models have been very positive, and the storm is one of the large ones of this decade... the only thing i'm worried about is the amount of moisture (total precipitation totals).l

If you are relying on reading international weather forecast editions well you have to take note that their prediction especially for the precipitation is not accurate especially for Middle east countries and Jordan in particular what was once a forecast-ed by them as a Wintry storm to his Middle east( 9-1-2013) turned out to be a sever snow storm .So i expect on ground floor the precipitation will be far more better t
